Senior celebrity makeup and hair artist Lorena Lopez is known for bringing  a unique combination of glamour, image collaboration, and the essential thinking behind image branding to the looks she designs for her clients. She has created iconic images for photographers and directors Annie Leibovitz, Inez & Vinoodh, Norman- Jean Roy, Mark Seliger , Mark Webb,  Anthony Mandler, Mattias Vrens, Albert Watson, Matthew Rolston, Patrick Hoelck, James Minchin, and Rankin among many others over the last 24 years as a full time image artist. Her work has been seen on the covers and through the pages of  detail specific & highly creative beauty publications such as L’uomo Vogue, Harpers Bazaar ,ELLE,  Rolling Stone, Maxim, British GQ,  XXL,  Vanity Fair , The Face,  Fringe, People, Dazed & Confused, Entertainment Weekly , WIRED,  The Source, & Fantastic Man  which has resulted in granting her a well rounded and confident eye for creative trends, international marketing in relation to art, beauty, and many forms of business entertainment. Known for having a passion for travel, people, humor and not running from a challenge has put Lorena’s name on a list of proffesional entertainer  style artists that she feels extremely fortunate to be associated with.

As a long time  personal hair & makeup artist to various celebrities, Lorena has done extensive  press touring, world traveling, red carpet hopping and intense media schedules with many of her clients  over the years. Her sometimes brief but more commonly long term extensive work with artists such as  Eminem,Blake Shelton, Maggie Rose, Thompson Square,  Sting, 30 Seconds to Mars, Lenny Kravitz, My Chemical Romance, Dave Grohl, Queen Latifah, Shooter Jennings, The Black Eyed Peas, Pharell, Ben Harper, Duran Duran, Gina Gershon, Snoop Dogg, Travis Barker, Weezer, Marc Broussard, Big Smo, Tara Thompson and Kings of Leon has taught her how to truly be of service to her clients as well as her craft. Always intent to work in every area she can learn more Lorena  has also done commercial campaign work  with large international companies like Budweiser, Dr. Pepper, Old Navy, iPod, Coca- Cola, Crown Royal, Hyundai, Timex, McDonalds, Mercedes Benz, Coors Light, Pizza Hut  and others.

In 2005, Lorena was named one of the top ten fashion & entertainment  industry image artists to watch by WWD Magazine and was also nominated for two MVPA Awards, the following year in both the makeup and hair caregories for her work on the music video  “Ghost Of You” by the band My Chemical Romance.

Although she thrived on the west coast as a true blue Los Angeles native, Lorena has taken root now in the ever growing  Nashville  “Music City” community and is enjoying a fresh style of work in the down to earth country music industry. She has collaborated on image work since relocating to Nashville from LA for wonderful artists such asBlake Shelton, Jewel, Kree Harrison, Thompson Square, Maggie Rose, Amy Grant, Big & Rich, and Trace Adkins to name a few . Image consulting and image branding have become the cornerstone of her focus in a city full of indie artists with impressive talents. Lorena is also steadily expanding her teaching credentials by instructing master classes for other trained makeup artists as well as group and private sessions for all persons in need of mastering their personal beauty style. Recently Lorena has given talks and shared her professional experience with makeup graduates at Napoleon Pardis in Los Angeles as well as The Paul Mitchell School in Nashville among others. With a desire to pass on what was so generously taught to her by so many creative professionals over the years she is enjoying  contributing to the fashion & entertainment industries more through education and mentoring.
